Bwah! Episode 1 is nearing completion!!!

Over the past few days, James and I have been scrambling to film and edit Dude Man Episode 1. After having reviewed the footage from our first day of filming, the two of us decided to go back and re-shoot the "Aussie Cap and Dude Man" sequence, complete with a replacement actor for Aussie Cap and a full light kit. James deserves a pat on the back for having demanded we re-shoot this sequence so emphatically, as this scene already seems much tighter and cleaner, even before we've dubbed in the sound. Speaking of dubbing sound, that's basically all we have to do to close the book on Episode 1! Hopefully I'll be posting back here tomorrow to celebrate the completion of Episode 1!

Costumes Cast and Filming oh my!

So costumes are finished for Aussicap, Mandude, and Dudeman. The roles for the first roomate and the cornerstore girl is finalized, and we've started filming the opening scenes of the movie :). Its going great so far, and we the crew of two (laugh) are in pretty good spirits right now. The main concern of mine right now is that we've lost our digital camera that was going to provide the pictures for the blog :/....We've also got a few funny outakes and some documentary footage going.

The Shooting of Dudeman Episode #1 Begins!

At about 10 AM this morning, James and I set out to the Evergreen HCC to begin shooting the first episode of Dudeman! Though lacking sufficient manpower to get the entirety of the shooting schedule taken care of, we managed to get a few precious seconds of footage. Things went pretty smooth today and I'm psyched for the near future when we really get rollin'! On a side note, we still need actors, so e-mail us or something!

April 4th Casting/Auditions

If you've seen the flyer you've come to the right place. We will be casting this week, all week, but April 4th is open auditions. At the audition we just ask that you show up with excitement open mindedness and the willingness to be crazy and dynamic. Today we were asked..."what is Dudeman"...if you're just plain curious...come to the audition at 4 - 6pm 3rd floor of the cab on April 4th and we'll talk in-depth about this "dudeman" and his exploits
