After having reviewed the footage from our first day of filming, the two of us decided to go back and re-shoot the "Aussie Cap and Dude Man" sequence, complete with a replacement actor for Aussie Cap and a full light kit. James deserves a pat on the back for having demanded we re-shoot this sequence so emphatically, as this scene already seems much tighter and cleaner, even before we've dubbed in the sound. Speaking of dubbing sound, that's basically all we have to do to close the book on Episode 1! The roles for the first roomate and the cornerstore girl is finalized, and we've started filming the opening scenes of the movie :). Its going great so far, and we the crew of two (laugh) are in pretty good spirits right now. Though lacking sufficient manpower to get the entirety of the shooting schedule taken care of, we managed to get a few precious seconds of footage. Things went pretty smooth today and I'm psyched for the near future when we really get rollin'! We're currently finished with writing episodes 1 and 2, and we'll be writing episode 3 sometime next week hopefully. Production of Episode 1 will be done within a couple of weeks and should be fun to watch. I'll be posting pictures and samples of the script, sound effects and all sorts of good stuff as time permits.
